Legal Experience

I have developed a strong interest in the legal field through a combination of academic and extracurricular involvement. These experiences have provided me with a foundational understanding of legal processes, as well as the practical skills necessary to contribute meaningfully in a legal environment.

UGA Mock Trial

I attended the University of Georgia Mock Trial Summer Camp for three consecutive years, where I developed a strong foundational understanding of courtroom procedures and legal strategy. Through intensive training and simulated trials, I became well-versed in the structure of legal arguments, rules of evidence, and effective trial advocacy. This experience also sharpened my public speaking and critical thinking skills, which are essential in legal settings. My time at the camp deepened my interest in the legal system and affirmed my commitment to pursuing a career in law, particularly in public service and prosecution.

Greenbrier High School Mock Trial

For the past two years, I have been an active member of the Greenbrier High School Mock Trial Team, where I have served in the role of a witness. Through this experience, I developed a strong understanding of case narratives, character analysis, and the importance of consistency and credibility in testimony. Portraying witnesses required me to master case materials, respond accurately under cross-examination, and contribute meaningfully to our team’s overall trial strategy. This role further deepened my appreciation for the legal process and sharpened my attention to detail.
